In this project I had to use many new technologies and sometimes be able to use different ones at the same time. I used websites such as 'Youtube' & 'google' to help me research my thriller opening. I also used other sites to help influence me with ideas and themes of what a thriller should be like; for example 'Artofthetitle.com'. This website has screengrabs from other thrillers which hav already been realeased into cinema and been successful.
We used a JVC digital Camera to film our media product, i found this product easy to use. While using the camera we used a mic called a 'boom', we used this to help enhance the sound as some of it was crucial to our video, eg. the phone ringing. The camera took a memeory card which helped when downloading our film onto our video drive, helping us to transfer it onto an apple mac. This helped to keep all our projects safe, as it minimised the risk of us losing work. We also used a digital recorder inorder to record our Voice Over.

Final cut to edit all our filmed clips to create our media production.
Soundtrack pro to create a soundtrack to add to our film.
Once we made our soundtrack we had to import it into Final Cut.
Although we didn't use LiveType, as we filmed our titles, we still learnt how to use it.
I found all of these programme quite easy to use, and so did my group. We liked the idea of how much we could play around with different ideas helping to improve our film.
